#132 Confession: I Caught Myself Feeling Guilty About This

00:00

To feel guilt is human, to release guilt divine. -Nicole Burnett’s updated Shakespeare

Have you ever set out your own goals? Like deeply considered what is important to you personally and aligns with your values and followed that path… And then caught yourself feeling guilty for not doing what someone else was doing!? I recently did!

This episode is all about the unexpected guilt we sometimes face when our goals shift, our priorities change, or when success looks a little different from what it used to be.

Owning your own journey is so key. I’m talking about redefining success—on your own terms—and letting go of the pressure to hustle harder, wake up earlier, or chase every buckle. Success is so much more than achievement. Success is about fulfillment.

This year, I chose to focus on a different kind of success—more time with my family, training my young horse at a slower pace, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

And guess what? Guilt still crept in.

In this episode, I’ll share how I’m letting go of that guilt and embracing a season of peace, patience, and personal joy. If you’ve ever felt like you *should* be doing more, this one’s for you.
