#62 Riding Center Stage. How to Get Over Your Fear of the Limelight And Thrive At Horse Shows

00:00

Hello fellow riders and friends! Welcome to our very first episode of the Resilient Reiner podcast for 2024. I'm super excited to share with you a story that really touched me last year. It's a tale about a ride, not just any ride, but one that started with dreams and ended in a lesson we all need to hear.

In today's episode, we're peeling back the layers on something that doesn't get talked about enough in our riding community: the mental game and the discomfort so many of us feel when the spotlight is on us.

It's something that affects many of us, not just in the show pen but in our day-to-day lives. How do you expect to have a top score at shows if you’re uncomfortable in the spotlight? How do you expect to progress in lessons if you squirm when someone is watching your lesson?

And because I want this episode to be super practical for you, I'm teaching you a three-part framework to help you conquer the fear of being seen and tackle change head-on. These are actionable steps that you can apply both in your riding and in life.

So, let's ride into this episode together, ready to face our fears and transform our approach to horse riding. And remember, I'm always keen to hear from you. Your stories of overcoming challenges in the show pen or any part of life are what make our community so special. Let's inspire each other and grow as one resilient family.
